Round Top is the smallest town in Texas with a public library. The library is in a beautifully restored gothic church and has a full schedule of fine arts and other programs for children and adults alike.
Established in 1970 as a UT English course, Shakespeare at Winedale has grown into a year-round program. Live performances can be seen in July and August just a short walk from Dragonfly Moments.
This historic center is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of 19th century German Texas culture. The property holds many historic buildings and also serves as a conference center for seminars, educational symposiums and arts and craft festivals.

Located in nearby Burton, TX, the Texas Cotton Gin Museum is the Official Cotton Gin of Texas and the oldest operating Gin in America. The Museum celebrates the Heritage that brought many German families to the area as one of the first cash crops. Although no longer grown in quantity, the Museum's Gin is a working Gin!
